Outgoing mail ( SMTP) should read “smtp.gn.apc.org”

  • On the “Servers” tab, check that you are using GreenNet’s SMTP server.
  • Highlight your GreenNet email account, and then click on “Properties”.

    Make sure “Use name and password” is ticked the username is usually the bit before the sign in your email address, or the username you use to log into GreenNet Webmail. If the server name does not end gn.apc.org or, then possibly you aren’t sending out through GreenNet, and can either check with the service you are using, or switch to GreenNet.

    Having upgraded to Office 2016 Professional earlier this month I have come across a frustrating issue within Outlook – an email with html content is not displayed correctly, the alignment is all off and a horizontal scroll bar is displayed so you have to scroll right to see any content. UPDATE: Unfortunately this issue has returned after using Outlook for a while, however closing and reopening Outlook seems to fix it again (temporarily).
